Now you can get the perfect ratio with the special Hype-X sprockets. Their technology makes “half gearing” possible, so you never have to compromise the perfect lap. Studies have made it possible to find a diameter that is exactly halfway between the two classic ratios. In fact, the sprockets will not have a cut, filed, or special tooth, but the entire sprocket will be exactly halfway* between the two classic ratios.

Gear Adjustment: Each 0.5 step changes ratio by ~0.7–0.8%

Compatibility: Fully compatible with all 219 pitch chains

No Front/Chain Changes: Requires no adjustment to chain length or front sprocket

Engineering: Pitch circle diameter is altered, not tooth count
