Mandatory for use in karting competitions, both national and international, up to and including 15 years of age (i.e., until the completion of the 16th year of age). However, it remains usable by drivers above this age, as it is certified. In some highly professional international competitions, the use of CMR helmets for drivers over this age may not be permitted. It is therefore advisable to check with the organizer of the specific event.
